The former aged-care wing at Villa Dalmacia was fully reimagined and rebuilt into a dedicated Specialist Dementia Care Unit, designed to meet modern clinical standards while creating a calming, familiar environment for residents and their families.

Mayfair renovated the entire ward, including ten bedrooms, shared living areas, support spaces, and service zones, before extending the footprint to improve movement, privacy and day-to-day functionality.

The project also included new landscaping and garden design, with pathways, seating, and shaded areas that gently encourage residents outdoors. These spaces were intentionally designed to support comfort, orientation, and connection, offering families places to spend meaningful time together in an environment that feels safe, warm and homelike.
