Hall & Prior engaged Mayfair Building & Construction to transform an under-utilised 100m² executive office space at Karingal Green into a luxury, fully compliant residential aged care apartment.

The aim was to maximise the value of the space and support additional RADs for the facility.

With a generous budget, the apartment was designed by Hassell Architects and fitted out with ultrahigh-end, bespoke finishes including natural stone, real timber, and premium Australian fabrics. The layout includes a fully accessible bathroom, living area, kitchenette, and enclosed alfresco—all curated to offer warmth, elegance, and functionality.

The project also features a state-of-the-art Control4 smart home automation system, tailored to each resident's unique routines and preferences to support ageing in place with dignity and ease. A key innovation being trialled is facial recognition entry technology, allowing seamless and secure access for the resident.
